CHARLES HERBERT LITTLE, a son of Benjamin Little, was born in Boscawen, N. H., December 4, 1804. He was prepared for college at Boscawen, under the tuition of Samuel Wood, D. D.
After graduating, he completed the course of theological study at Andover Theological Seminary, in 1830. He passed the most of the two subsequent years as a teacher in South Carolina. In 1834, he returned, and became joint proprietor and editor of the New Hampshire Observer, a religious paper printed at Concord, N. H. He resigned the editorship in February, 1835, on account of the failure of his health, and died in Boscawen, January 1, 1836.
