SALMON FLETCHER DUTTON, A son of Salmon Dutton, was born in Cavendish, Vt., August 12, 1803. He pursued his preparatory studies at Charlestown, N. H.; left college, at the close of the Freshman year; studied law in Boston, Mass., with his uncle Richard Fletcher, Esq., about two years; and has since resided in Cavendish, Vt., in the practice of that profession.
He has been a member of the Senate of Vermont, and is now a Judge of Probate.
He married Miss Sarah J. Barlow, of Windsor, Vt.; and has three children;--Richard H., Emily I., and Salmon.
