ABNER PRIDE BIGLOW, a son of Barna Biglow, was born in Brookfield, Vt., March 18, 1805. He was prepared for college at the academy in Randolph,
Vt., under the tuition of Mr. Rufus Nutting.
Soon after graduating, he engaged in the book-selling business, in Lunenburg Co., Va., where he resided about five years, and then removed to Farmville, Va., and continued the same business, until his decease, from consumption, May 8, 1852.
"His disinterestedness and integrity were proverbial. He had been, for many years, a professor of religion, and died with great composure, expressing a firm confidence in the merits of his Redeemer."
